A small swimming pool or spa leak can result in your pool losing hundreds of gallons of water every day. The average backyard swimming pool holds about 20,000 gallons of water, and at least 100 gallons can seep out of a small leak.
If your swimming pool is losing more than 1/4 inch of water each day or about two inches a week, you may have a leak somewhere in your pool system.
